For smaller business-use projects, returning commercial clients, and simple custom tools or parts that do not require a full commercial development package.

This option is best for businesses that need a smaller custom solution such as a simple tool, fixture, organizer, display piece, replacement part, spacer, bracket, template, or workflow aid.

Includes:

  • Up to 4 hours of design and development time

  • Basic project review

  • Custom 3D design/modeling

  • Print-ready file preparation

  • Up to 1 prototype/test print round

  • Up to 1kg of standard PLA or PETG prototype material

  • One round of minor fit/function adjustments after prototype review

  • Standard scheduling

  • Internal business-use permission for the finished product

  • Basic fit/function planning

Additional commercial design time is billed at $175/hr.

Materials, print time, extra prototypes, specialty materials, finishing, assembly, shipping, installation, rush turnaround, resale rights, exclusive rights, source-file transfer, and production quantities are quoted separately.

This option is intended for smaller business-use projects and does not include priority scheduling, multiple prototype rounds, expanded documentation, resale rights, mass-production rights, or exclusive ownership unless agreed to separately in writing.

Additional Design Time & Project Overages

Each custom package includes a set amount of design and development time. If a project reaches the included time limit before completion, Towurz will pause work and provide a progress update before any additional billable time is added.

The update may include:

  • Work completed so far

  • Current project status

  • Remaining work needed

  • Estimated additional time required

  • Cost to approve additional time

Additional time must be approved and paid before work continues unless otherwise agreed to in writing.

Unused full hours from prepaid additional time may be credited toward remaining project costs, including materials, printing, finishing, or final balance. Partial unused hours are not credited unless otherwise agreed to.

Additional time does not include materials, print time, specialty filament, finishing, assembly, shipping, installation, resale rights, source-file transfer, or other project costs unless specifically stated.
